Yesterday I finished Robert Kiyosaki's excellent book Rich Kid Smart Kid. I find Robert's books to be very helpful to me in the areas of personal finance, money and debt.
Think back to the first time you ever played some game as a kid, hide and seek for example. Somebody said, hey want to play hide and seek? Having never played the game you probably said something like, sure but how do you play. You asked to be told the rules.
Essentially everyone born into the world has to play the money game, but few are ever taught the rules. How can we expect to play the game well without knowing the rules?
One of the things that Robert discussed in the book is that schools don't give our children a solid financial education. They don't teach children the rules of one of the most important games they will ever play.
Has anyone out there read the book? What do you think?
If you don't have the book you can get it here Rich Dad as well as other books and audio from Robert Kiyosaki.
