Impress family and friends with a hardcover photo book with customized dust jacket created in iPhoto (part of the iLifesuite.
- Start by creating an album for the photos you want to use. Arrange the photos in roughly the same order that you want them to appear in the book (you can always change the order later).
- Now click the “Book Button”.

- You can choose from several books sizes and binding styles.
- Each type of book has an assortment of design themes. Click through the themes to see previews. Choose a theme (you can change themes as you go along).
- iPhoto will display your books cover in the viewer. At the top of the window a photo browser shows the photos that you’ll add to the book. To add a photo to the cover simply drag it to the gray frame.
- When you use a photo a check mark appears in the browser. You can use the photo elsewhere in the book if you like the check mark is just a reminder that you’ve used the photo at least once.
- You can also have text on the books cover. Select the filler text and type your own.
- To continue creating your book click the right arrow.
- Add a photo and text to the inside flap of the dust jacket.
- If you’d like iPhoto to create your book automatically click “Autoflow”. iPhoto adds the photos to your book pages for you.

- You can customize the pages, or if you’re happy with the results click the “Buy Book” button. iPhoto uploads your book to Apple for printing and delivery to your door step.
